Electrical Switches and Terminals Integrated with Overmolding for High Reliability

Custom fabricated electrical switches and terminals that are integrated with discrete component over-molding for producing medical and surgical devices are being introduced by ETCO Incorporated of Warwick, Rhode Island.

ETCO Custom Electrical Terminals for medical and surgical devices are designed to integrate with discrete component over-molding to offer better strain and flex relief, assembly efficiency, and reduced costs. Manufactured from virtually any alloy including medical grade alloys, titanium, platinum, stainless, and copper alloys, they can be supplied reel-to-reel or loose piece for integration into a wide range of automation systems.

Produced in sizes from 0.008" to 0.090" thick with ±0.002" tolerances, depending upon materials and design requirements, ETCO Custom Electrical Terminals are developed using rapid proto-typing with 3-D solid modeling analysis. They can also be inlaid or edgelaid with precious metals for increased wear properties and other characteristics.

ETCO Custom Electrical Terminals are priced according to design, materials, and quantity; typically suited for 500,000 parts/yr. production quantities.
