Highway Products Inc. of White City, Oregon has introduced their custom Strongback™ Fire Body for brush and wildland fire fighting trucks. These light weight marine grade aluminum beds are built for easy maneuverability and operation in tough to reach areas and difficult terrains inaccessible with larger fire trucks. These field tested units feature a frame made of 6” structural T6 extruded aluminum “C” channel side rails, 4” long sills and cross members on 12” centers to endure extreme off-road use. Boxes and baskets are designed to carry maximum tools and supplies and to provide quick access when every second counts.
