Original Press Release:

New BACK-UP Pads Eliminate Duty Belt Lower Back and Hip Soreness

GA - Patented BACK-UP pads are the simple solution for lower back and hip soreness caused by duty belts worn by law enforcement and armed services personnel. Once users have tried them, they wonder how they ever did without them! Based on the market response to the newly released product, relief from soreness is long overdue for law enforcement and armed services duty belt wearers. Several years ago a physical therapist faced with treating officers with severe abrasion from the duty belt began to experiment with different solutions. Available in single pair packs, or by the case, BACK-UP pads are made from a miracle polyester fabric and are designed to withstand the rigors of every day use. BACK-UP pads are wrapped around the pants belt, and secured by hook-and-loop fastener. The duty belt is then donned as usual, only now it "rides" on cushioned pads. BACK-UP does not interfere with "belt-keepers." For lower back problems most officers use them 1" to 2" on either side of the spine. For relief from hip soreness placement 1" to 2" in front of and in back of the painful area is recommended. It is recommended that pads not be placed directly on the painful area.
