Curved Roof Panels feature leakproof design.

Press Release Summary:

Curved 3 in. trapezoidal, standing-seam, roofing panels, for commercial and residential applications, overcome water infiltration problems associated with shallower, flat pan, curved standing seam. Panels widths of 12, 18, and 24 in. may be curved into radii from 30-350 ft. Maximum panel length is approximately 34 ft, but may vary depending on radius and degree. Substrates best suited to curving are 26 and 24 ga galvanized or zinc aluminum coated steel.

Curveline Offers Curved 3 Inch Standing Seam Roof Panels

Ontario, Calif., August 2004 - Curveline, Inc., which specializes in a patented method for "crimp-curving" of profiled metal panels, now offers curved 3" trapezoidal standing seam roofing panels for commercial and residential applications. The curved panels combine outstanding aesthetics and attractive shadow lines with a leak-proof design that overcomes the water infiltration problems sometimes associated with shallower, flat pan (vertical leg) curved standing seam.

Three-inch deep standing seam panels may be curved into radii from 30 ft. to 350 ft. using Curveline's proprietary method. In addition to aesthetic benefits, the curving process also enhances the strength and rigidity of the panels, further increasing their spanning capabilities and minimizing the structural support requirements. Panel widths of 12", 18" and 24" may be curved: Maximum panel length is approximately 34 ft., but may vary depending on the radius and degree. Substrates best suited to curving are 26 and 24 GA galvanized or zinc aluminum coated steel, although Curveline can also curve .032, .040 and .050 aluminum.

Curveline's unique service center concept allows the architect or other specifier to source standing seam panels from half a dozen leading manufacturers in locations around the country. The designer then specifies the desired radii and angles of curvature.
