Press Release Summary:
Series HBC-138A ac-to-dc transducers sense ac line currents from 5-100 A and produce proportional output voltage of 0-10 Vdc. Inputs can produce signal to analog or digital meter, or can be used by PC or PLC to provide closed-loop control. Factory-set models provide output voltage of 10 Vdc at full scale, while some models provide output voltages that are adjustable using onboard multi-turn potentiometer. All units provide over-voltage protection.
Original Press Release:
NEW CURRENT TRANSDUCER FOR STRIPPED-WIRE RELAYS AND ASSEMBLIES
FALL RIVER, MA - A new line of AC-to-DC current transducers from HBControls allows easy, direct mounting to the company's line of stripped-wire relay assemblies. Designated the HBC-138A Series, they also provide a direct mount capability to the Crydom CM Series relays.
The new current transducers provide a simple method to sense AC line currents from 5 to 100 amps and produce a proportional output voltage of 0-10 VDC. These inputs can be used to produce a signal to an analog or digital meter, or can be used by a PC or PLC to provide closed loop control.
With 13 models in the HBC-138A Series, customers can get units designed for AC input ranges from zero to 100 amps. Factory-set models provide an output voltage of 10 VDC at full scale, while some models provide output voltages that are adjustable using an onboard multi-turn potentiometer. All models provide overvoltage protection.
The units are priced at less than $40 each for small quantities and are available from stock.
HBControls is a leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of DIN rail mounted solid state relays, microprocessor-based systems, semiconductor assemblies, and custom assemblies.
