FEMTO Variable Gain High Speed Current Amplifier

FEMTO introduces the new variable gain current (transimpedance) amplifier DHPCA-100 for frequencies up to 100 MHz. This new addition to the FEMTO product portfolio offers variable gain from 102 to 108 V/A. With these characteristics the DHPCA-100 is ideal for amplifying and measuring currents from pico to milli-ampere. The maximum bandwidth goes up to 100 MHz with a minimum rise time of just 3.5 ns. Just like its "little brother" DLPCA-200 (for frequencies up to 500 kHz) the new DHPCA-100 offers many additional features like switchable AC/DC coupling, integrated lowpass filters at 1 MHz and 10 MHz, offset control and an adjustable bias voltage for use with external photodiodes. An integrated, opto-isolated digital interface allows for remote control of all main functions of the amplifier by computer or external electronics.

The DHPCA-100 comes in a very compact and rugged aluminum housing which is specially surface treated for optimized EMI shielding. It is the ideal tool for amplification of small currents generated by high impedance sources, such as photodiodes, PMTs, ionization and particle detectors. Typical applications include spectroscopy, particle detection, fast current and resistance measurements, general lab use and front end for ultrafast lock-in amplifiers, oscilloscopes and A/D converters.

FEMTO manufactures a line of high quality specialty amplifiers for signal recovery and processing. These products include Low Noise Current Amplifiers, High and Low Frequency Voltage Amplifiers, Photoreceivers, High Speed GHz Amplifiers and Lock-In Amplifiers.
