ConservaCube(TM) Introduces Cube-Shaped Flexible Packages with Zipper Closure
ConservaCube™ introduces its unique cube-shaped, heavy-duty stand-up pouches – the ConversaCube™ and FlexiPAIL™ – with a new zipper closure option at its Pack Expo Las Vegas booth #S-5883. The press-to-close zipper enhances ease-of-use while ‘going cubic’ with heavy weight packages that stand up and stand out. ConservaCube and FlexiPAIL reduce up-front packaging costs and maximize pallet loads to save freight and improve sustainability at the same time they enhance shelf appeal and branding with four large high-impact display panels.
Extending the trend in stand up pouches to the heaviest weight packages, ConservaCube and FlexiPAIL can easily handle packages weighing up to 55 lbs. (25kg). Featuring a trademarked design, ConservaCube and FlexiPAIL stand up with structural integrity when filled, which allows multiple layers per pallet and the stacking of filled pallets with no exterior, secondary support required. The cube shape maximizes pallet load efficiencies to reduce freight and warehousing costs.
Ideal for any dry, free-flowing product, ConservaCube and FlexiPAIL are available in sizes from a 6 inch (15 cm) cube to 12 by 13 by 17.5 inches (30.5 by 33 by 45 cm). ConservaCube is perfect for a wide variety of foods and ingredients for retail and foodservice customers as well as products in the pet, lawn and garden, household, chemical and other industries, replacing bags, pouches and bag-in-box packages. FlexiPAIL replaces rigid pails, providing up-front cost savings and reducing package materials by up to 90 percent.
Four jumbo, high-definition display panels present a full 360 degree view, creating a stunning shelf presence and strong branding opportunity while the cubic shape maximizes shelf space and reduces restocking. ConservaCube and FlexiPAIL improve sustainability. In addition to source reduction, freight savings and warehouse efficiencies, the flexible packages are typically made of a single substrate, making it more easily recyclable. The polyethylene film is 4 to 5 mil in thickness and can be printed with up to 10 colors using flexographic or gravure printing to meet the exact needs of each customer. The company can add barrier properties to the flexible film, as needed.
