Coalpactor® Crushes Coal And Other Solid Fuels; Ideal For Fluid Bed Boiler Plants
Broomall, PA, (August 14, 2003): Size reduction of coal, petroleum coke, and waste coals, such as bituminous gob or anthracite culm is performed with high efficiency by the
Pennsylvania® Coalpactor. Compared to other crushers, it provides the lowest cost-per-ton crushed, at high reduction ratios and high capacities, though requiring less horsepower.
Because it crushes material mainly by impact, using progressively smaller clearances between the breaking elements, the Coalpactor provides excellent control over output size
while producing minimum fines. A typical output size is 95% minus 6mm. In addition, this model easily handles high moisture content material.
A wide range of adjustments are standard, enabling rapid changes of output size or to accommodate normal wear. It also features a reversible rotor which allows the user to divide wear between two complete sets of breaker plate assemblies, and to maintain all hammers at maximum sharpness over their full service life.
