Gardco Crosscut Tester’s new Dual Metal stainless steel shim Model has Spacing up to 6mm, which are required for some bridge and industrial applications and now easily achieved with the New Dual guide Crosscut Tester.

APPLICATIONS:

Suggested for adhesion tests on bridges, ships and other ferrous substrates

-Â The magnetic base holds the compact instrument secure on ferrous substrates such as steel panels, bridges, ships, etc.

-Â For both smooth and flat surfaces as well as somewhat rough coated surfaces

-Â Multiple cuts in a test specimen must be evenly spaced if results are to be meaningful and repeatable.

-Â Ensures even spacing of the cuts with a specially designed, versatile instrument with Blade Guides or Metal Shims is a part of this kit.

FEATURES:

Made from high-grade materials: The cutter knife blade is made from the finest steel, the aluminum body of the gauge is black anodized for durability and corrosion resistance, the 1mm and 1.5mm shims are made from stainless steel.

When not being used, it retracts into a plastic housing for protection.

Scores in the blade permits the end to be snapped away so that up to thirteen fresh sharp tips may be exposed. The entire blade is readily replaceable in the handle.
