The LPHY46 is a remote operated, low pressure (1500-2500 psi), hydraulic 15-ton crimping tool that features an industry-exclusive visual crimp indicator and is double acting for hydraulic ram advance and retract. The LPHY46 also features an industry-exclusive spring back-up for ram retraction in case of hydraulic pressure loss.
With a large two inch jaw opening and 15 tons of output force in addition to unique visual and audible crimp indicators, the LPHY46 is an ideal solution for a wide range of applications and ensures a proper crimp every time. What's more, its 350 degree versatile head rotation allows for operation in virtually any position, and its ergonomic handle provides better balance while lessening operator fatigue.
The LPHY46 can be powered directly from open or closed center hydraulic tool circuits present on most utility trucks or from portable low-pressure hydraulic power packs. Also, with a simple external adjustment, the LPHY46 can be switched from open center to closed center operation.
Using standard FCI-BURNDY® "P" or "U" dies with adapter, the LPHY46 does not require any additional boosters, intensifiers or hand controls in the bucket. Furthermore, the LPHY46 comes with a one-year limited warranty and rounds out the full line of low pressure hydraulic crimpers when coupled with the LPHY750 twelve ton version.
