Crimp, Twist, Flux and Tin Ultra-thin Wire
The Gamma 255 from Komax is a flexible crimping machine that can process both ends of a wire from 16AWG to 36AWG -- fully-automatically. The operator can leave the crimping press in place as a changeover is made to twisting, fluxing and tinning (even with lead-free solder) - for quicker setups.
The system includes an integrated prefeeder for gentle feeding of wires. Additionally, defective crimp handling, knot detection, end-of-wire monitoring, wire splice detection, stripping confirmation and terminal presence are all available.
Fitted with a short wire option, the Gamma 255 system can crimp wires as short as 20mm in length. Modules for pull-out force, barcode scans, and crimp height may also be integrated.
