JST Introduces New Line of Ergonomic Crimping Hand Tools
JST Corporation, Waukegan, Illinois, announces the introduction of two new ergonomic crimping hand tools. The JUCS-2210 Crimping Hand Tool for insulated terminals and splices and the WC-2210 Hand Tool for closed end splices are both ergonomically designed. The handle fits comfortably into users hand while actual crimping action is done in the last bit of handle travel. The built-in rachet insures complete closure of the handles, thus guaranteeing proper cycling of the tool. As the handle of the tool closes, the dies move in a straight line. This straight or in-line action yields the same high quality crimp as a semi-automatic bench press and applicator.
The JUC-2210 die set has three crimping nests to terminate 22-16 (red), 16-14 (blue), and 12-10 (yellow) preinsulated terminals and butt splices. The tool provides both a wire barrel and insulation support crimp in one operation. The terminal locator with wire stop insures a complete quality crimp each time. The locator swings out of the way when crimping butt splices and fully insulated quick disconnects.
The WC-2210 die set has three crimping nests to terminate 22-16, 16-14, and 12-10 closed end splices. The terminal locator insures a complete quality crimp each time. The tool comes with two locators to accommodate both the American and European/Asian styles of closed encl splices.
