Peter Wolters of America will be exhibiting Micron Macro at Eastec 2013. Event will be taking place Tuesday, May 14th through Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the Eastern States Exposition located at 1305 Memorial Avenue West Springfield, MA.
Micron Macro machines have been designed for Creep Feed-Profile and High Efficiency Deep Grinding (HEDGE) Grinding. Micron achieves up to a 30% reduction in cycle time versus competitors' grinding process. Compared to conventional surface grinding, Micron allows for high stock removal rates. Micron Macro is based on the Moving-Wheel-Head concept. All linear movements are performed by the grinding head. Superior linear movements provide optimum force distribution with minimal thermal variation.
Torque tube design guarantees superior vibration dampening and thermal stability. Spindles are available with different speeds and power ranges to best match the application. Micron Macro is easy to automate with robotic loading and unloading. Electrical cabinet and frame allow easy access to machine interior. Specially designed frame allows reduced footprint for optimal floor space.
