MOUNDRIDGE, Kan. - CRC Solar, a leading manufacturer of Fixed Tilt Ground Mount Racking Systems recently supplied specially designed solar racking for Lone Star College in Houston, Texas.

CRC Solar, working in conjunction with solar developer Ignite Solar, supplied a specially designed fixed tilt ground mount racking system to withstand hurricane force winds. This system was installed at Lone Star's Houston campus to support their new introductory course in Alternative and Renewable Energy Ideas and Solutions.

The assignment given CRC Solar was to provide a durable yet attractive racking solution to be used with both Thin Film and Monocrystalline Modules that would withstand 130 mph hurricane force winds and protect against corrosion for 20+ years. Other design parameters included ease of installation and low-cost.
