Craftwell's eCraft Named a CES Innovations 2011 Design and Engineering Award Honoree

NEW YORK, Dec. 8, 2010 - Craftwell Inc., a developer of technologically advanced craft products, announced that it has been named an International CES Innovations 2011 Design and Engineering Award Honoree for the eCraft Electronic Cutting System. The prestigious Innovations Design and Engineering Awards have been recognizing achievements in product design and engineering since 1976. It is sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association, the producer of the International CES, the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow. Honorees are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, engineers and members of the media to honor outstanding design and engineering in consumer electronics products.

The eCraft's breakthrough mat-less cutting technology allows for creative options not possible with other personal electronic cutters. Users can now cut faster and easier, without length limitations. In addition, the eCraft comes with a paper tray, allowing users to load stacks of paper for automatic feeding, similar to a printer. The eCraft has an easy to use interface and is targeted at crafters of all ages.

Its sleek and lightweight design makes the eCraft ideal for the home, office, or classroom. It can be operated as a standalone unit using Craftwell's SD Image Cards or connected to a PC. Software is included, allowing users to create and customize their own designs or download images from Craftwell's online marketplace, eCraftcentral.com.

The eCraft Electronic Cutting System will be displayed at the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show, which runs January 6-9, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Innovations Design and Engineering Showcase will feature the eCraft in the Grand Lobby of the Las Vegas Convention Center and at CES Unveiled: The Official Press Event of the International CES on Tuesday, January 4.
