SBC-660E P-III Tualatin Half-Size CPU Board

AAEON's new half-size CPU card SBC-660E targets industrial automation controllers and legacy ISA-bus applications/devices that require readily-available Intel Tualatin P-III processors up to 1.4GHz.
This half-size CPU card solution features a ZIF Socket 370 that accepts both Intel P-III Tualatin processors and VIA CIII processors through the use of a VIA Apollo Pro 133A chipset. The single onboard 168-pin DIMM socket supports up to 512MB SDRAM memory modules, and there is a CF+ socket supporting Type I/II CompactFlash memory devices. The SBC-660E supports two IDE devices and UDMA 100 mode as well as a floppy drive interface. I/O interfaces include one multimode parallel port, one RS-232 serial port and one RS-232/422/485 port, an IrDA interface, dual USB ports and a keyboard/mouse connector.
For graphics, the board uses the SMI Lynx3DM SM 721 chip with 4MB of SGRAM. It supports simultaneous display of CRT and flat panel (TFT and DSTN) displays. The VT82C686B chip takes care of audio and is AC97 2.0 compliant with multistream Direct Sound and Direct Sound 3D acceleration. Audio interfaces include Microphone In, Line In, CD Audio In, and Speaker out.
For top Ethernet performance, the SBC-660E uses the Intel 82559ER PCI-bus controller and supports 10/100Mbps and allows remote booting from LAN. Expansion buses include not only the ISA-bus for backplanes but also a PC/104 connector for add-on devices. Power consumption is 5.5A @ 5V, 80mA @ 12V with a P-III 800MHz CPU and 128MB SDRAM module installed.
