Kushner adds GHS - Globally Harmonized System Labeling and Safety Data Sheet Training to Course Venues
Anaheim CAÂ — The Kushner Electroplating School has announced that all English language seminar programs both live and on-line web based versions have been updated with new content supporting the Globally Harmonized System Labeling and Safety Data Sheet information. Effective this year the Hazard Communication Standard for all facilities with hazardous materials must comply with employee training on the new GHS labeling and safety data sheets.
The OSHA Hazard Communication Standard was revised in 2013 and although importers and manufacturers of hazardous chemicals are not required to update all labeling of hazardous material until June 1, 2015, every owner/operator of industries using those hazardous materials is required to train employees about the new label changes as of this year, 2014.
