Cedarburg, WI - Orange Peel Rotating Shaft Guards has introduced Type VCG Volume Custom-Coupling Guards for all shaft coupling styles, with diameters to 40" (1016mm). They are an economical semi-standard guard approach for volume applications, and require only 6 dimensions for a quotation and approval drawing. VCG guards provide assured compliance with safety regulations, and feature a two piece design that fully encloses the rotating components, allowing gaps no greater than .250" (6mm).
Orange Peel Type VCG guards are available in steel, stainless steel, and aluminum with a durable powder coated finish. Options include; paint color, elongated shaft openings, cooling/inspection vents, stainless steel base hinges, stainless steel lasps, and ANSI or ISO safety labels.
