Counter/Bagger/Palletizer aids high-speed can end manufacturing.

Press Release Summary:

Configurable to suit different layouts, Automatic Counter Bagger/Robotic Palletizer is used to count, bag, and palletize can ends. Modular system counts and bags aluminum and steel ends from 200-401 diameter and bags 26-50 in. long sticks. Offering manual or fully automated robotic palletizing, system processes up to 6 bags/min and can run glued or unglued bags. Multiple pallet configurations selectable from HMI screen, and servo belt driven actuators are used for stick transfers.

FleetwoodGoldcoWyard Introduces Automatic Counter Bagger / Robotic Palletizer

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - FleetwoodGoldcoWyard, a leading producer and supplier of advanced conveyance technology and product handling equipment, proudly announces its Automatic Counter Bagger (ACB) / Robotic Palletizer. The system utilizes FleetwoodGoldcoWyard's proven technology to count, bag and palletize can ends.

Key benefits of the ACB/Robotic Palletizer are: modular system that is easily configurable to suit different layouts; counts and bags ends from 200 diameter to 401 diameter; bags stick lengths from 26" [660mm] long to 50" [1270mm] long; can work with aluminum and steel ends; can be configured for manual palletizing or fully automated robotic palletizing; processes up to 6 bags per minute; capable of running glued or unglued bags; multiple pallet configurations selectable from HMI screen; and servo belt driven actuators used for stick transfers.

The machine consists of three separate systems all functioning together as one unit. As can ends are fed into the system, they are counted and separated into sticks of a predetermined quantity, then transferred to be bagged. After the sticks of ends are bagged, the machine then folds and closes the bags and delivers them to a layer table for pickup from the Robotic Palletizer. The Robotic Palletizer picks up the bags and places them on a pallet in the customer's predetermined layer pattern. After the layer pattern is complete, the robot covers the layer of bagged ends with snake-wrap material. This process continues until the predetermined number of layers is made to complete the pallet.

The ACB/Robotic Palletizer is a can end counter bagger / robotic palletizer designed for high-speed can end manufacturing lines for the can manufacturing industry.
