New Patented Cosasco® CUI Corrosion Sensors for Detection of Corrosion Under Insulation
Rohrback Cosasco released Cosasco CUI Corrosion Sensors for detection of corrosion under insulation. Cosasco CUI sensors offer reliable, low cost, and simple installation compared to other current methods of CUI monitoring and measurement.
Rohrback Cosasco offers three types of CUI corrosion monitoring sensors:
o Continuous Insulated Braid "corrosion fuse" Wire (Type 1)
o Inserted "corrosion fuse" probe array (Type 2)
o CUI Corrosometer® Probe (Type 3)
These three techniques offer direct corrosion detection and a much lower cost per monitoring point than existing methods and may be customized to meet individual requirements and applications to fit with any plant integrity management program.
