New format combines CD and DVD into one disc
McHenry, IL - November 20, 2007 - Corporate Disk Company is proud to announce the introduction of the revolutionary DVDPlus hybrid disc. This new technology enables a single disc to have both DVD and CD content, allowing for bundled media in one convenient package.
Corporate Disk is the only replication facility in the United States equipped to manufacture the new DVDPlus discs. The replication process combines two optical formats, a DVD on one side and a CD on the other, without diminishing the quality of either medium. This new DVDPlus format is able to play in conventional DVD player, CD players, and computers.
DVDPlus is also environmentally friendly, reducing the cost and waste involved in packaging two separate products.
