Pillar Launches New VERSATreat (TM) Corona Treatment Technology

Hartland, WI, – Pillar Technologies, a leading manufacturer of advanced surface treatment and induction cap sealing systems, has announced the launch of a new state-of-the-art corona treatment technology known as the VERSATreat™ corona treatment system.

“This exclusive corona treatment technology directly responds to the industry’s request for longer ceramic electrode life, and longer ceramic roll covering life”, says Steve Helker, Pillar Regional Sales Manager. “It also features a smaller, more compact design compared to competitive systems.”

Specific features and user benefits of the VERSATreat™ system include 1) the ability to universally treat both conductive and non-conductive materials, 2) a new ceramic electrode with electrical and structural properties designed to maximize uptime, minimizing electrode failures, and increase treatment level, 3) a proprietary ceramic ground roll coating which provides nearly 100% greater dielectric strength than competitor ceramic coatings, 4) an exclusively-applied ceramic ground roll coating which significantly increases in-service life and MTBF, and 5) an industry-exclusive 3-year non-prorated ground roll warranty.

“Pillar's VERSATreat™ system is designed with leading-edge component materials to create the most reliable performance and operational safety for our customers” added Helker. “Our customers, and the customers of our competitors, want a corona treater which handles longer continuous running periods and which minimizes maintenance downtime. Pillar’s VERSATreat™ system corona treatment system meets these criteria while also providing economical operation.”
