Coriolis Flow Meters withstand high pressures.

Press Release Summary:

Rated to 5,000 psi, Micro Motion® F-Series Meters provide flow and density measurements in demanding, high-pressure environments at flow rates to 300 lb/min. When combined with Micro Motion MVD(TM) Technology, meters deliver mass flow accuracy up to ±0.1% and volume flow accuracy up to ±0.15% when measuring liquids. On liquid density, meters are accurate to ±0.001 g/cc. Units have no moving parts to wear out or break down, and no need for periodic recalibration.

Emerson Adds Compact, High-Pressure Meter To Micro Motion® Coriolis Line

New Micro Motion F-Series Coriolis sensor offers value and performance in a compact package for high-pressure applications

AUSTIN, TEXAS (January 10, 2006) - Emerson Process Management brings added high-pressure capability to the Micro Motion® F-Series compact Coriolis meter line. Rated to 5000 psi (345 bar), this new Micro Motion F-Series meter offers customers flow and density measurement in demanding, high-pressure environments at flow rates up to 300 lb/min (8160 kg/h). This new solution expands the capability of the Micro Motion F-Series compact design, while expanding the power of Emerson's PlantWeb® digital plant architecture to improve manufacturing quality.

As part of the high-performance and cost-effective F-Series product family, this new Micro Motion Coriolis sensor provides excellent measurement accuracy for mass flow, density, and volume flow. When combined with Micro Motion MVD(TM) Technology, F-Series meters deliver mass flow accuracy up to ±0.1% and volume flow accuracy up to ±0.15% when measuring liquids. On liquid density, Micro Motion F-Series meters are accurate up to ±0.001 g/cc, making it the most accurate Coriolis densitometer on the market other than Micro Motion ELITE® meters. With no moving parts to wear out or break down, and no need for periodic recalibration, Micro Motion Coriolis flowmeters consistently help increase plant profitability by reducing maintenance and downtime costs.
