(Elyria, Ohio) The new RIDGID® X2 18-Volt Cordless 1/2" Rear Handle Hammer Drill (Model R841151) is engineered to stand up to the most challenging jobs, driving through masonry and concrete with ease. The cordless hammer drill is equipped with a two-speed transmission (0-400/0-1600 rpm) and a high-speed gearbox for powerful hammering action at ranges of 0-6,400 and 0-25,600 blows per minute. A 24-position clutch allows professionals to regulate the tool's high torque output (up to 485 in-lbs), and its 360° auxiliary handle enhances user comfort and control.
Like all tools in RIDGID's X2 line, the hammer drill comes with two Max HC(TM) high capacity battery packs and a Rapid Max Twin(TM) charger as standard accessories. This dual-port charger features a fan to cool the batteries, so it can charge two Max HC(TM) packs simultaneously in only thirty minutes. Highly versatile, the Rapid Max Twin(TM) charger will accommodate any RIDGID battery pack, regardless of voltage.
The new X2 hammer drill includes a metal two-sleeve locking chuck with dense carbide jaws, as well as a metal depth stop rod for positive depth adjustments.
For impact resistance, RIDGID has equipped the drill with a four-piece outer house, a die-cast clutch ring and die-cast gear housing. Soft yet resilient overmold covers the clutch ring, handle, and other points of impact to protect both the hammer drill and work surfaces if the tool falls.
