Advance Introduces the Adgility(TM) XPB Battery Backpack Vacuum - the Lightest in the Industry

Lightweight, cordless design offers greater mobility for cleaning in tight spaces

Plymouth, MN -- At just over 18 pounds and with a sound level of only 58 dBA, the new Adgility(TM) XPB battery backpack vacuum from Advance is substantially lighter and quieter than its battery-operated competitors. Powered by a lithium ion battery with 30 minutes of cleaning time, the Adgility XPB delivers a whole new level of comfort, quiet and performance for multi-surface cleaning in close quarters. Like the Advance Adgility(TM) XP corded backpack vacuum, the Adgility XPB features an ergonomically designed, cushioned harness that distributes the weight more evenly and higher on the back than traditional backpack vacuums. This design allows the unit to move more fluidly with the operator, increasing comfort and cleaning productivity while reducing fatigue.

"Backpack vacuums have long been favored for cleaning offices, classrooms and other facilities with hard and soft flooring and tight spaces in cubicles or between desks," says Sara Thurston, Advance commercial market manager. "Now, with the Adgility XPB, operators are able to vacuum where they have not been able to with a corded model. Using the latest in battery technology, the Adgility XPB can clean for 30 minutes on one battery while the second battery is charging. This change-out feature allows for continuous run-time while cleaning."

With the Adgility XPB, operators are able to vacuum where they have not been able to with a corded model. Using the latest in battery technology, the Adgility XPB can clean for 30 minutes on one battery while the second battery is charging.
Also contributing to operator comfort is the design of the air discharge. Unlike other backpack vacuums, the filtered air discharge for the Adgility XPB is directed back and away from the operator, eliminating a constant blast of warm air on the lower extremities that can contribute to operator fatigue and discomfort. This design also allows the Adgility XPB to continue operating even if the machine is temporarily set down on a floor or another surface. Standard tools include a two-piece straight steel wand, 12-inch multi-surface floor tool, round dusting brush and crevice tool.

Advance is a brand of Nilfisk-Advance, one of the world's leading manufacturers of high-quality commercial and industrial floor maintenance equipment. For more information on the new Adgility XPB backpack vacuums, call 763-745-3500 or visit www.advance-us.com .
