Product Applications: Heyco precision-molded Liquid Tight Fittings with metric hubs (also known as cord grips) provide 35 lbs. of strain relief protection to the cords running through them. They protect the cord from the forces of push, pull, and flex. Heyco's Liquid Tight Fittings with metric hubs are similar to standard strain reliefs, but they provide IP 68 liquid tight protection. They are sized according to the cable diameter range they accommodate. Each metric hiub fitting includes a locknut, which is used to secure the fitting to a chassis.
Product Description: Heyco Liquid Tight Fittings with metric hubs are available in straight-thru, pigtail, and right angle styles, in sizes to fit a wide range of applications. The flexible Pigtail extender prevents sharp bends and extends cable life. Metric sizes M12, M16, M20, M25 and M40 are available and will accommodate cables from 1,7 mm. to 32,0 mm. in diameter. Heyco Liquid Tight Fittings attach in seconds by simply pushing cable through the installed fitting and tightening the dome nut.
Construction & Finishes: Heyco Liquid Tight Fittings with metric hubs are molded in Heyco's own state-of-the-art U.S. plant of high- strength Type 6/6 nylon with "Buna N gland." They are resistant to salt water, weak acids, gasoline, alcohol, oil, grease, and common solvents. Heyco Liquid Tight Fittings are available in gray or black and are designed to withstand temperatures of -22° F to 212° F. Liquid Tight Fittings are UL listed and, CSA certified, have flammability rating of 94V-2, are suited for NEMA 6P enclosures, and withstand up to 70 PSI of water pressure.
