Convoluted PTFE Tubing accommodates sharp turns, small bands.

Press Release Summary:

Engineered as equivalent of corrugated FEP tubing, Convoluted PTFE Tubing is intended for use where sharp turns and small band diameters are required. High-temperature material, which has non-stick surface, is also electrical insulator and resistant to most corrosive liquids. Properties of PTFE tubing allow for cuffing of ends, fostering smooth transition to fittings and couplings. Uses for this FDA-compliant material include electrical or fluid conduits in semiconductor industry.

Original Press Release:

Convoluted Teflon PTFE Tubing

Tef-Cap’s Convoluted PTFE Tubing is engineered to be an equivalent to that of Corrugated FEP Tubing where sharp turns and small band diameters are needed. It can be used as an electrical or fluid conduit in the semi conductor industry. Convoluted PTFE Tubing will operate in applications where high temperatures are required and other materials are not suitable. Both PTFE and FEP are FDA compliant materials and can be used in food and medical industry.

Convoluted PTFE is a high temperature material that has a non-stick surface, allowing easy cleaning. Convoluted PTFE is an excellent electrical insulator and resist most corrosive liquids including hot acids.

The properties of PTFE tubing allow for easy cuffing of the ends which make a smoother transition to fittings and couplings.
