RKC Instrument Announces Conveyor Speed Control In Multi-Zone Controller
SOUTH BEND, IN - RKC Instrument announces a new module option for the SR Mini HG multi-zone temperature control system. The H-SIO-A is a PID conveyor speed control module with autotuning. It receives a pulse input from a sensor with output as either continuous voltage or current. Both speed control and accurate temperature control can be accomplished as a stand alone system or in conjunction with a PLC or PC. The overall system is capable of controlling up to 320 zones per operator interface and can be built to offer analog input and output, digital input and output, and cascade control. MODBUS/ANSI protocol, DeviceNet and Profibus are available.
The H-SIO-A is ideal for continuous oven/furnace applications, packaging, food industries, calendar rolls, heat sealers, coating rolls, and drying applications.
