Shuttleworth Introduces the Star Roller(TM) to Achieve Flawless Transporting and Accumulating of Cut Sheet Paper Stacks

Huntington, IN - Shuttleworth, Inc. introduces the Star Roller(TM) that eliminates the "shingling" or "creeping" of the bottom most layers of paper when stacks are transported or accumulated on Slip-Torque® conveyors. Combined with Slip-Torque® technology, the proprietary Star Roller(TM) profile accomplishes non-damaging accumulation (buffering) between machines in the cut sheet paper handling process. Accumulation reduces total line delays by allowing operable machines to continue production for a cost-effective period of time when other in-line machinery is down. The amount of accumulation time is determined by frequency and length of downtime of in-line machinery.

Now, the cut sheet paper industry benefits from flawless accumulation that increases throughput, gives greater productivity, reduces product damage, and hours of operating time.

As a leader in product handling for in-process manufacturing, Shuttleworth engineers and manufactures conveyors for food and beverage, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, healthcare, paper conversion, printing and binding, automotive component, powdered metal and the electronics industries. All Shuttleworth conveyor systems can be custom built to meet individual process needs using proven Shuttleworth standard components and devices.
