Conveyor Handling Company Selected by DC Water to Build Warehouse Storage Systems
Elkridge, MD – Conveyor Handling Company, Inc. has been selected by the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority to build new parts storage systems for two maintenance warehouses. These systems will be located in the new maintenance warehouse being built at the DC Water Blue Plains facility and in the newly retrofitted DC Water Bryant Street warehouse. The equipment will consist of new pallet rack and cantilever rack designed to store replacement parts for the largest advanced wastewater treatment facility in the world.

Conveyor Handling Company also proposed several alternatives to improve the design specifications, which DC Water decided to incorporate into the final system. Project completion is scheduled for November, 2013.
