Self-Contained, Powered Conveyor Gate Section from TKF is Lightweight and Operates on Standard 110V Electric


CINCINNATI, OH (May 17, 2005) - TKF is now offering a powered gate section for powered conveyor systems that incorporates its innovative, patented PosiGrip technology to create a unique and effective solution when access behind or through a conveyor section is required.

PosiGrip utilizes lightweight, motorized drive rollers. Roller drive gear teeth are formed directly into the rollers and are powered by smooth, quiet synchronous belting in a positive drive. There are no separate motors, sprockets or gears and no welded drive components. The unit is self-contained and operates on a standard 110V electrical supply. A gas spring assists in the lifting mechanism. The result is a relatively lightweight and very economical and dependable gate section.

Many configurations and sizes can be designed. Widths and lengths are dependent upon the application. Single sections, and drawbridge-type double sections are available.
