New Single Module Two Speed Synchro To Digital Converter
A series of new single module two speed Synchro to Digital Converters with 16 Bit resolution and ±.005° accuracy has been introduced by Computer Conversions Corporation.
These new devices convert two speed Synchro or Resolver inputs of 11.8V, 26V or 90V 400Hz or 90V 60Hz into 16 Bit parallel binary outputs representing angle. Speed ratios of 1 x 10, 1 x 18, 1 x 36, 1 x 8, 1 x 16, 1 x 64 & 1 x 128 are available. The converters can track rates up to 1000 degrees/sec and also have a DC velocity output and built in test (BITE) digital indication of correct operation. Their size is 2.6" x 3.1 " x .82"H.
Part Number SDT36 accepts 1 x 36 Synchro input 26V or 115V AC reference input and requires +15V DC at 15ma, -15V DC at 50MA and +5V DC at 150ma. Operating temperature ranges are 0 to 70°C and -55°C to +105°C.
