Converters can provide up to 25 VA.

Press Release Summary:

High Power Digital to Synchro Converters feature 14, 12 or 10 bit resolution. They are designed to drive torque receivers with accuracies up to +/- 10 min of arc, while being immune to overload and transient conditions. Available output voltages are 90 or 11.8V RMS L-L, 60 or 400Hz. Units will accept 14-bit natural binary angle and convert it into 3-wire synchro or 4-wire resolver signals.

Original Press Release:

New High Power Digital To Synchro Converter Can Drive Up To 25VA

Computer Conversions Corporation has introduced a series of High Power Digital to Synchro Converters with 14, 12 or 10 bit resolution. The new devices can provide up to 25VA and have been specifically designred to drive torque receivers with accuracies of up to +10 minutes of arc, while being immune to any overload and transient conditions.

The 4.5" x 9.25" x 1"H (400Hz) units will accept a 14-bit natural binary angle and convert it into 3-wire synchro or 4-wire resolver signals. The output is short circuit, thermal overload and transient protected. The power stages are automatically shut down during any overtemperature condition and a digital fault indication is provided. Available output voltages are 90 or 11.8V RMS L-L, 60 or 400Hz. Digital inputs are TTL/DTL compatible and the synchro output is transformer isolated in most models.

Part No. DSH40ST-L-1-15 requires a 26V rererence and +/-15V @ 65ma plus the load current and +5V at 100ma. Operating temperature ranges are 0°C to 70°C or -55°C to +85°C.

Prices in reasonable production quantities are less than $895.00 ea. Delivery is 4 weeks ARO.
