The internationally acclaimed BOOSTER(TM) Single to Three Phase Converter, introduced by Boostek LLC utilizes the latest solid-state technology to provide utility quality three phase power from a single phase source at minimal cost.

The BOOSTER(TM) eliminates the need to buy an oversized converter or purchase additional power quality components. With full-hard starting capabilities (600% overcurrent on demand), high efficiency, power factor correction and voltage balancing, the BOOSTER(TM) will provide significant energy savings while powering all applications from the most difficult starting loads to voltage sensitive digital machinery.

Investing in a three phase utility supply can be very expensive, especially in areas off of the main grid. With utility estimates averaging $40,000 per mile to install, many three phase equipment users are forced to turn elsewhere to find a three phase supply. Phase Converters are the economical option, however power quality is often compromised with poor voltage balancing and for most equipment loads, an oversized converter must be specified to enable motor start-up. These inefficiencies lead to increased energy consumption and eventually may cause damage to the three phase equipment, especially digital or electronic machinery.

The same process occurs when the BOOSTER(TM) experiences a hard-start or overload situation for example, a submersible pump must push the entire head of water on start-up which momentarily requires much higher currents (hard-start).
