Self-contained design eliminates need for external amplifier

TWINSBURG, OH - Pepperl+Fuchs introduces the ML3 series of sub-miniature photoelectric sensors for convergent beam sensing. The ML3 convergent series offers a sensing window that can be customized to an application, operating at a focal point of 120mm and more for white targets. The sensing window allows both foreground and background objects to be ignored.

These light-efficient sensors also have an increased excess gain compared to diffused mode models. The subminiature housing size of 32mm x12mm x 8mm has a sensitivity adjustment for setting the sensing window. These models feature adjustable sensing ranges with visible red or infrared LED light sources.

Additional features include:

o NPN and PNP outputs

o Self-contained design, eliminating the need for a remote amplifier or controller

o Option of visible red or infrared light sources

o Mounting brackets included
