New PoolPak Controller Offers Lonworks, Modbus® Integration
York, PA (4/10/03) - PoolPak Technologies Corporation announced the release of their new ECC III controller for single- and dual-fan PoolPak dehumidification systems. The new controllers offer a choice of either LonWorks or ModBus® BAS protocols for integration to BAS. An optional LonWorks Remote Access Package can be specified that includes an integral web server package, modem, Ethernet port and datalogger.
Another important ECC III feature includes its history logging/trending ability that can measure performance of the unit over an extended period. This allows the factory to monitor performance of any unit in the field and make corrections as needed. The controller can perform self-diagnosis of system problems and then display the results in English. Alarm conditions can be forwarded via telephone or e-mail using the controller's built-in call-out capability. The ECC III includes a fully-functional touch screen interface, complete with color graphics that are exceptionally user-friendly. Additional display/keypad adapters are available, allowing the PoolPak to be monitored from several locations.
