Danaher Motion's eZMP SynqNet® Controller Delivers High Performance Machine and Motion Control

Delivers power, flexibility and connectivity of industrial computer with performance of real-time multi-axis motion and I/O control

WOOD DALE, IL - Danaher Motion introduces the eZMP SynqNet® Controller. This high performance standalone controller integrates precision motion with a flexible, expandable, and upgradeable industrial computer capable of autonomous machine control and user interface operation. The eZMP supports up to 64 axes of motion and up to 17,000 points of I/O control and has Ethernet, USB, Video, and PCI connectivity. The eZMP is also a SynqNet motion network master for fast, safe, and proven plug and play SynqNet amplifiers and I/O devices, and is an ideal controls product for semiconductor, electronic assembly, machine tool, general robotics and specialty machine applications.

"The eZMP integrates the full power, flexibility, and connectivity of an industrial computer with the performance of real-time, 64-bit multi-axis motion and I/O control," says Jeff Pike, eZMP Product Line Manager. "This eliminates the headaches associated with acquiring, integrating, and managing the changes associated with industrial PCs without sacrificing the performance or flexibility."

Program the eZMP using Visual Basic, C/C++/C# or other 3rd party software packages. The eZMP utilizes the Windows XPe operating system as an open and scalable machine control platform. Support for other real time operating systems is also available. Easy connectivity is built-in with Ethernet TCP/IP, USB 2.0, Device USB, VGA and serial port interfaces. PCI expandability available - contact Danaher Motion for details.

About SynqNet
The SynqNet motion network was designed to meet demanding motion applications and industry trends toward interoperable, digital machinery. SynqNet uses the standard Ethernet IEE802.3 physical layer for robust isolation and 100m cable lengths with a deterministic protocol engineered by Danaher Motion. SynqNet creates system modularity, HotReplace(TM) service without downtime, remote diagnostics, software field upgrade, multi-vendor support and fault-tolerant safety. Since 2003, over 300,000 SynqNet axes have been installed.
