New Industrial RGB / Video / DVI Controller from Apollo is Optimized for Multimedia Applications
Ronkonkoma, NY, January 27, 2006 - The PRISMA II controller board from Apollo Display Technologies is the next generation development of the company's standard PRISMA RGB/Video Converter Board and is optimized for multimedia applications. It enables TFT LCDs to be connected to standard graphics/video interfaces. Input signals like analog RGB, analog video or DVI are converted into TFT-compliant TTL or LVDS signals.
PRISMA II offers a broad range of state-of-the-art features and a wide variety of special functions, but is still economically priced. Features include:
o Component video input
o Support of resolutions to WUXGA (1920 x 1200)
o Improved video quality and better de-interlacing
o Improved auto-adjust functionality
o User-defined configuration of each input interface
o Advanced scaling features such as pan and zoom
o Picture-in-picture (PIP) and Picture-by-picture (PBP)
o Power supply up to 24 volts, optional
o Advanced HMI capability
o Different versions easily defined by the firmware
o RoHS compliant
The PRISMA II controller additionally includes component video support and data/power connectivity options onboard, which are selectable by the customer. Multiple versions are available depending on the unique user requirements.
