SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH - FEBRUARY 6, 2002 - parvus Corporation today unveiled the PCMCIA Dual Interface board, a two-slot PCMCIA connector and controller board for PC/104-based microcomputer systems.

The board is designed as a simple means to add readily-available PC Card I/O functionality to a PC/104 system, such as fax/modem,
networking (LAN, Ethernet, wireless), flash memory, video capture, GPS, SCSI adapter, parallel adapter, serial adapter, video teleconferencing, ISDN, 1553, etc. Featuring a low-profile Intel(r) PD6722 chip, the module is fully PC/104 form-factor compliant and available with either two front-, right- or left-loading PCMCIA disk drives. It supports all Type I, II and III PCMCIA memory, I/O and ATA hard disk cards, which can be used to support the transfer of data and sharing of peripheral devices between portable computers and embedded PC/104 computers.
