Version 2 Delivers More Power and Flexibility in the Same Compact Package
NORTHFORD, Conn.-Fire-Lite Alarms, part of Honeywell's (NYSE: HON) Fire Group, the leading manufacturer of quality life safety systems, introduces the newest version of its MS-9600 addressable fire alarm control panel. MS-9600 V2 adds flexibility with its optional Digital Alarm Communicator Transmitter (DACT-UD) 14.4K Baud modem, and two additional Notification Appliance Circuits.
The DACT-UD option provides users with remote site upload/download and remote monitoring capabilities. These capabilities allow life safety system managers to upload vital programming information directly to the control panel and download this information from the panel to a local PC. Also, technicians can diagnose system problems remotely, saving a great deal of time and money.
The Fire-Lite MS-9600 also offers an optional second loop via a Signaling Line Circuit (SLC), which can support an additional 318 addressable devices (for a total of 636 devices), including the new addressable dual-monitor module, heat detectors, and duct detector. The MS-9600 is manufactured with surface-mount technology and is designed for ease of installation and programming. It features the latest fire protection technology, including Maintenance Alert, Automatic Detector Test, and Sensitivity printout.
