Autonomic Resources Now Offers Continuous Monitoring Services for Sustaining Government Cloud Compliance
Autonomic Resources provides continuous monitoring, reporting, and management services in their new solution, ARC-P Continuous Monitoring (CM).
CARY, N.C. -- Autonomic Resources' newest service, ARC-P CM, offers continuous monitoring activities as a monthly service supporting cloud vendor and government agencies' FISMA and FedRAMP authorized environments. Their clients are provided monitoring strategy, event monitoring and alerting, vulnerability scanning and reporting, and compliance reporting as a part of this offering.
ARC-P CM services are customizable to specific client's monitoring requirements and include:
Daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual scanning and monitoring
Quarterly and annual security awareness training
Documentation updates to the client's Plan of Action & Milestones, Annual Accreditation and Attestation, and System Security Plan
Coordinating, updating, and overseeing plan testing including the Contingency Plan, Incident Response Plan, and Configuration Management Plan (updates only)
Other optional features of ARC-P CM include:
Policy review and update
Scanning of client developed custom code
SIEM tool deployment
Included in the ARC-P CM offering is a Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) Tool with supportive deployment and configuration services. Autonomic manages the installation based upon the client's continuous monitoring standards, required FISMA/FedRAMP controls, and FISMA/FedRAMP Continuous Monitoring standards.
These continuous monitoring services are available whether the cloud provider is currently or is planning to leverage Autonomic's authorized ARC-P IaaS platform or another CSP's authorized solution. By leveraging ARC-P IaaS, providers can automatically inherit up to 25% of the FedRAMP Moderate baseline of security controls. Also, once it completes the authorization process, Autonomic Resources' Platform as a Service offering, ARCWRX, will allow agencies to inherit up to 80% of the FedRAMP security controls in their applications developed on the platform. ARC-P CM shifts the burden of customers' day-to-day authorization-required reporting to Autonomic Resources. This reduces the amount of FTE's needed for these activities among government agency staff, contractors, software vendors, and hosted application providers.
ARC-P CM also allows CSPs, government agencies, and other authorized government cloud vendors to take advantage of Autonomic Resources' experience with FedRAMP and proven track-record of cloud compliance. Autonomic Resources was the first CSP to successfully complete a FedRAMP Annual Assessment for their authorized ARC-P IaaS solution, and has streamlined the process of FedRAMP authorization maintenance.
