PALO ALTO, Calif. and SANTA CLARA, Calif., Feb. 5 -- Voltage Security, a global leader in enterprise privacy management and Code Green Networks, a leading developer of solutions for protecting customer data and intellectual property, today announced they have entered into a technology alliance to deliver an integrated content protection and encryption appliance to the SMB market. The new product integrates the Code Green Networks Content Inspection Appliance with message encryption from the Voltage Security Network(TM) (VSN), a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution, to provide a "protect and secure" solution that is extremely easy to install, use and administer economically.
This joint, one-box solution addresses a previously unanswered need for policy-based data protection designed specifically for the SMB market. This solution introduces the first "designed for SMB" anti-data-leakage appliance combined with easy-to-use, zero-management native encryption. Joint benefits of this solution for SMBs include:

The Code Green Networks Content Inspection Appliance 1500 (CI-1500) uses Deep Content Fingerprinting technology to provide the highest accuracy and efficiency in detecting violations of data protection policies, and enables content-specific encryption through direct integration with the Voltage Security Network. Specific policies are established for data transmission across all of the most widely-used TCP protocols including SMTP, FTP, HTTP and Web mail. When the system detects an unauthorized SMTP transmission, it invokes the policy to log, alert, block, or quarantine the message. If it detects an authorized SMTP transmission of sensitive content, it automatically encrypts the message through the Voltage Security Network for secure transmission. All transmissions are logged in an audit trail for compliance purposes.
