Really Strategies Releases RSuite Version 3.5 with New Search Features and Forms Functionality

Audubon, PA -Really Strategies, Inc. released RSuite version 3.5, the industry's first award-wining content management system created exclusively for publishers. The latest software release includes new features, major enhancements, and improved usability based on customer feedback and requests from its growing user community.

New search features provide editors and publishers the ability to drill down and locate content based on full-text, metadata, and XML fielded searching. RSuite customers can easily configure multiple search forms mapped to the publishers' content. In other words, publishers' metadata and XML fields can be presented to the user in the search interface, revealing to editors the ways that content has already been classified. New tools allow users to easily search for content objects based on the metadata of their containing packages, for example, finding all articles in a book when the metadata exists only on the book. Search results can be copied with one click to create a new packaging of content in the repository. This content package is dynamic and refreshed as content is updated throughout the system.

A personal clipboard feature provides users the functionality to quickly organize and work with select content in their own personal whiteboard space. Custom metadata forms are easily configured and offer users a quick way to update metadata. Metadata forms can be configured per role so that the correct fields are exposed to the appropriate staff.

"RSuite v3.5 offers continued evolution of our search and form features, providing more tools to publishers to work with their content," stated Ed Stevenson, RSuite Product Manager. "We've also added new features, such as the user clipboard, that make working with content easy for the person who interacts with the system on a daily basis. With each major release, we've responded to our user community and provided new tools that maximize content re-use and make working with content organized and structured. Another new feature is the concept of a 'frozen reference' in which a user can 'pin' a specific piece of content to a specific version of a document. You can't do that outside of a content management system."
