UN/DOT-Certified Bult Container Permits Secure Transport and Storage of Sodium Hypochlorite at Water, Wastewater Facilities

All-Plastic IBC Ideal For Wide Range Of Chemical Treatment Materials

Standard Footprint Accommodates Weighing Platforms

Saddle Brook, NJ: The UN/DOT-certified Unitote intermediate bulk container from container manufacturer Meese Orbitron Dunne Co. (MOD), Saddle Brook, New Jersey, features an all-plastic, polyethylene design that resists swelling and elongation
due to chemical contact and protects against vertical stress-cracking to permit secure shipping and on-site storage of sodium hypochlorite, sodium hydroxide, sodium aluminate, ammonia, fluoride, phosphate, liquid caustic, liquid polymer and other
chemicals used in the treatment of municipal and industrial water and wastewater. Rotationally molded of LMDPE in a single, seamless piece set in a removable, polyethylene base, the rugged Unitote IBC resists impacts, weathering and sunlight, is virtually impervious to chemical attack and boasts a 1.9 specific gravity rating. A two-
inch, all-plastic, polypropylene valve assembly promotes smooth discharge while its anti-trap shutoff prevents potentially dangerous chemical decomposition.

Engineered with a standard, square footprint and 4-way lift access, the reusable Unitote IBC loads safely and easily onto weighing scales and platforms. To aid tracking of chemical usage and feed rates, the Unitote IBC includes permanent, molded-in level markings at 55-gallon intervals.

Available in 275- and 330-gallon capacities, the Unitote IBC stacks two high when filled, three high when empty and drains to less than three ounces. A seven-inch top port is standard while a one-inch or two-inch top discharge port are optional.
