Phihong Announces a New Series of Dimmable 150W Constant Current LED Drivers with 94% Efficiency

Delivering outstanding, high efficiency performance over long operational lifetimes, the new PDA150 Series LED drivers feature optional 0–10V dimming & are ideal for a broad range of commercial LED lighting applications

Fremont, CA -- Phihong USA, a leading global supplier of energy efficient OEM power and lighting solutions, has announced a new series of 150W constant current LED drivers for commercial lighting applications. Suitable for use in both dry and damp locations, and featuring optional 0–10V dimming, in addition to a 20V auxiliary output for controllers, the new PDA150 Series LED drivers provide energy efficient, flicker- and shimmer-free performance in a broad range of commercial LED lighting applications, including indoor and outdoor fixtures, area, high bay, and architectural lighting.

Rated for input voltages spanning 120–277VAC, PDA150 Series LED drivers deliver 150W output power, and typical efficiencies of 94% at 230–270VAC and 92% at 120VAC. Available with six constant current outputs (350mA, 530mA, 700mA, 1050mA, 1500mA, and 1680mA), the series has a life expectancy of 50,000 hours at full output power, 50°C ambient temperature, and ≤80°C Tcase, and 100,000 hours at ≤65°C Tcase, and is covered by a five-year warranty. Water- and dustproof per IP66, PDA150 Series LED drivers can tolerate humidity levels ranging from 10–95%, and feature over-voltage, over-current, and short-circuit protection that allows them to withstand sustained open circuit and short circuit output conditions without damage.

PDA150 Series LED drivers are rated for use in operating temperatures spanning -40°C to +85°C, and exhibit power factor correction of ≥ 0.9, total harmonic distortion (THD) of less than 12%, and a 0.5mA maximum leakage current at 277VAC. The series is also certified to CE, UL8750, and RoHS safety specifications.

PDA150 Series LED drivers measure 241mm x 59mm x 39mm (9.49" x 2.32" x 1.54"), weigh 1,043g (2.3lbs), and utilize standard length (25cm/10") 18AWG solid copper lead wires for the input, output, 0–10V dimming, and auxiliary.
