Connectors offer tool-less installation.

Press Release Summary:

IDC Field Wireable Connectors are available for industrial automation applications that use eurofast® or picofast® field wireable connectors. They are installed by twisting connector ends together, which forces the unstripped conductors between terminating connector blades and provides a gas-tight connection. The connection can be re-used or reconnected through multiple cycles. Applications include field wiring multiple conductors.

IDC Field Wireable Connectors, Fast, Reliable and Cost Effectives for Field Wireable Components

Minneapolis, MN - TURCK Inc. has announced that the NEW IDC Field Wireable Connectors are now available for industrial
automation applications that use eurofast® (Ml 2, 2 to 5-pin straight or right angle style) or picofast" (M8, 3 and
4-pin straight style) field wireable connectors. Simple, tool-less, installation is made possible by twisting the field wireable connector ends together. This forcing the un-stripped conductors between terminating connector blades, providing a
gas-tight connection.

Insulation Displacement Connection technology has proven to be an effective alternative to stripping and soldering wire
terminations. Used in the telecommunication industry for over 30 years as [DC blocks, this technology offers an easy, cost
effective method for field wiring multiple conductors. IDC connectors offer many advantages over screw terminal or
soldered contacts because they allow for a gas-tight connection without the additional steps of stripping cable insulation,
therefore saving time and money during installation. The solid IP67 connection can be re-used or reconnected through
multiple cycles. The IDC Field Wireable Connectors are now available
