Positronic's VP Series connectors provide a dedicated power interface between plug-in boards and backplanes. The VP Series was developed to support live insertion and extraction requirements of cards used in the latest technology computing platforms.
The latest addition is the VPX power connector. The VPX variant was developed for VITA 41 VXS (VME Switched Serial). The VPX is uniquely sized for compatibility with IEEE 1101.2 conduction cooled boards and PMC cards per IEEE 1386. Six power contacts and three levels of sequential mating are offered.
