BMA Connectors for Semi-Rigid and Flexible Cables
A full line of high frequency BMA connectors that fit semi-rigid cables and flexible cables with tape-wrapped Teflon® and foamed polyethylene dielectrics is being introduced by TRU Corporation of Peabody, Massachusetts.
TRU BMA Series Connectors feature a high integrity push-on SMA interface that is suitable for dense modular connector arrays requiring fast and reliable connections. This line of high frequency BMA connectors has been expanded to fit many types of cables including semi-rigid sizes from .0865" to .141" and flexible cables from .190" to 24" with crimp and solder attachment.
Providing a positive alignment interface with minimal insertion force per MIL-STD-348, TRU BMA Series Connectors accommodate a maximum of .060" (.120" custom) axial- and ±.020" radial misalignment. Designed for dc to 22 GHz applications, these 50 ohm connectors have a 1,000 VRMS dielectric withstanding voltage and 5,000 Megohms insulation resistance.
TRU BMA Series Connectors are priced from $12.45 (list) each, depending upon quantity. Complete cable assemblies are also offered. Literature and price quotations are available upon request.
