EIA Connectors Eliminate Rigid Line
A new series of high power EIA connectors that are designed for flexible braided cable, to simplify routing and eliminate the need for rigid line, is being introduced by Tru-Connector Corporation of Peabody, Massachusetts.
Tru-Connector EIA Connectors for flexible braided cable simplify routing by eliminating the need for rigid line. Available as straight and right angle plugs, receptacles, and adapters in 7/8" and 1-5/8" line sizes, they are suitable for high power applications up to 10,000 Watts.
Featuring silver plated beryllium-copper inner conductors, with Teflon® dielectrics, and brass and nickel- or silver plated bodies, Tru-Connector EIA Connectors provide 50 ohm impedance, handle 6,000 Volts, operate at frequencies from dc to 6,000 MHz, and have a 1.15 VSWR.
