New Generation of M8 and M12 Connectors
Harrisburg, PA - Phoenix Contact is pleased to announce it now offers all the versatility of the M8 and M12 sensor connectors in a new design to complement the company's wide range of sensor/actuator distribution boxes. The connectors feature a mechanical safeguard against vibration, gold-plated contacts, and IP 67 protection. In addition to the wide range of standard models available, special types with variable lengths of wire or a different cable material are also available.
The new M8 and M12 connectors come in straight and angled versions, each with male and female contacts in three, four, or five positions. The M8 connectors are available in three and four positions. The female connectors are available with or without LEDs. A special feature offered on request includes union nuts made of high-quality plastic or stainless steel to provide corrosion resistance.
When used with sensor/actuator boxes, the use of circular connectors with extruded insulation cable cuts cost and labor during system installation.
